The Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, Texmodas and the Texmodas Foundation, in association with the ACDI/VOCA LA Foundation, are carrying out a technical job training program in the cities of Bogotá and Medellín. The purpose of this initiative is to close gaps in human capital and provide tools that allow generating economic opportunities for young people in vulnerable conditions, between 18 and 28 years of age.
This program has a tailor-made accompaniment to strengthen soft skills, supported by the ACDI/VOCA DecidoSer® methodology.
Through the implementation of the training program for work, associated with the gastronomy and clothing clusters of the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, socio-emotional skills for employment are developed: assertive communication, customer service, teamwork, achievement orientation and sense of urgency in the project participants, through psychosocial support and the ACDI/VOCA DecidoSer® methodology.
The goal is to provide economic opportunities and training to 410 young people between 18 and 28 years old in a vulnerable situation, in Bogota and Medellin.
